Appointments and Drop-in Schedule

Appointments and Drop-in Sessions

UPDATE: All appointment tutoring, drop-in tutoring, and language conversation partner (LCP) sessions will move online via Zoom instead of meeting face-to-face. Make an appointment and access your appointment using our online scheduler. You can also check out our drop-in schedule and access the sessions through the links listed. All times are listed in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

All of our appointments and drop-in sessions are free to Stanford students. For most subjects, you need to make an appointment. But for some, you have the option of stopping by without an appointment. At drop-in sessions, you can come and go as you like. Multiple tutors at each session mean you can often get individual attention when you need it, or just work with others knowing that tutors are nearby to answer questions.

Appointments and drop-in sessions are available in Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters, from the Sunday of week two until the last day of classes, for courses in which you’re enrolled.

Courses Offered

Each course below specifies whether we offer support with appointments, drop-in sessions, or both.

Appointment availability for Spring Quarter will be posted by Sunday, April 12, and sessions will be held until the last day of classes on Thursday, June 11. If there is a course that you are looking for that's not on this list, please contact us at tutoringhelp@stanford.edu. We may be able to find a tutor for you or direct you to other resources.

Make an Appointment or check out our drop-in schedule below. Please also check out our Using TutorTrac Guide to learn how to make and cancel appointments.

Health Accommodations

If you are unwell and unable to meet with a tutor or LCP, please be sure to email your tutor/LCP and tutoringhelp@stanford.edu prior to your appointment time. Canceling an appointment due to illness will not negatively impact your ability to make appointments in the future, but we must have email confirmation of your cancellation.
